 Changes
« Result #1 on Mar 7, 2008, 2:51pm »

Busy, busy, busy. I have been working on a few changes to the site, checking links, and adding crafts. I'm working on St. Pady's Day and Easter these last few days so be sure to come back to see what is new. I'm currently working on todays but have not posted them as of yet. They will be up by this evening so be sure to check back.
If anyone sees any broken links, has suggestions, or is looking for a special craft, let me know.

~Michelle ::)

 cooking
« Result #2 on Mar 5, 2008, 6:13pm »

I'm just amazed at how interested my son has become with cooking lately. I believe that he is more interested in cooking and baking than my daughter was at this age. My daughter loved baking but seemed less interested in cooking. Whereas, my son loves both. I maybe because my husband is the cook in the family. I really don't enjoy cooking but will bake anytime. Anyone else have chefs for husband?
I do believe that it is important for my daughter to learn how to cook so lately I have been teaching her the basics. I don't want her to be on her own one day and not even know how to boil an egg. She may starve if she lacked the cooking skills. LOL.
I don't know of any young child that doesn't take an interest in at least baking. Do you? I think the interest starts early when they first show interest in playing with the pots and pans instead of the expense toys. :D

 Re: Easter

Well, it's that time again. Time to begin to think about the famous bunny, the sweets, and decorating those eggs. I can not believe that winter is almost over. Not that I want it to stick around. Believe me when I saw that I am done with the cold. You would think that a Canadian such as myself would be use to the winter weather. I guess since I left I don't appreciate it the same.
Back to the subject at home. I am preparing for the easter crafts and the creative egg painting. I use to love this holiday when I was a kid because I loved painting the Ukranian eggs. Did anyone else tackle this creative way of decorating eggs? I think this year I will see if my daughter would like to experience this. She is 8 and hasn't decorated the eggs any other way that the traditional dipping. Speaking of decorated eggs, I added a link to a craft that I found on another website for displaying your child's masterpiece. I thought it was cute.
My plan for this week is to add more easter and St. Patrick's day crafts. I started yesterday but had some computer issues and had to shut down. After many moments of fustration I gave up. >:( I will attempt again so check back in.

Have a great day everyone!! ;D

 Updates
« Result #4 on Jul 23, 2007, 2:51pm »

Hello.
I have been away from the site for sometime now because I have been attending classes. I have now completed my degree and will be catching up on many neglected items which includes updating this website. My plan is to have new items added this coming month. I thought it would be wonderful to learn what all of you would like to see on the site. Post any suggestions under this thread.
Thanks for everyone's patience while I focused my attention on school. ;D

 Mother's day
« Result #6 on May 5, 2006, 8:21am »

Since we are approaching mother's day, I was wondering what memories you have of past mother's day celebrations? How does your family celebrate this day?

Mother's day is a well deserved day for all mothers, grandmothers, and aunts everywhere!! :D

 Valentine's day
« Result #7 on Jan 18, 2006, 10:15am »

What are some fun things you do with the kids on Valentine's day? Do you do games or activities? Maybe there is a special Valentine's treat that you prepare with your kids? Are there traditions that you and you children do every Valentine's day? I would love to hear about them. ;D

 Birthday party games
« Result #10 on Jul 29, 2005, 8:02pm »

This seems to be a question that resurfaces around our families during birthday times. What kind of ideas do you have for boy or girl birthday parties? It always seems to be more difficult coming up with ideas during the winter birthdays. ::)
